Michael Peart
Director of Private Wealth Management and Relationship Manager
Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, I am a huge fan of Chicago sports. I graduated from the University of Iowa (Go HAWKS!) with a bachelor’s degree in finance. I currently hold my Series 65 and LAH licenses. I was driven to become a Private Wealth Advisor due to my love of helping people and tailoring portfolios to their needs.
The most rewarding parts of my job are creating new long-lasting relationships and helping clients make sense of their financial situation.
Areas of expertise
Executive compensation and benefits packages
I enjoy sharing my expertise on executive packages (e.g., RSUs, ESPP, Deferred Comp, and Stock Options). These benefits can provide tremendous value but can also create confusion about how they fit into a client’s financial plan.
Maximization of benefits
I have extensive experience working with clients in the healthcare sector (e.g., Abbott, AbbVie, and Pfizer) and helping best maximize the benefits that are offered.
Questions I often hear:
Are you a Fiduciary?
Yes. Each member of our team acts in a client’s best interest at all times. We take this fiduciary responsibility very seriously. Since being founded, we do not have one disclosure against our name — solid proof of our dedication to looking out for the best interests of our clients.
Do you charge a commission?
No, we do not charge commissions. We are also not limited to a small family of funds — meaning we have flexibility to invest across the entire marketplace. These were two big reasons why I chose to work at EMBREE FINANCIAL Group.
